Gamcheon Culture Village
Artist Connections
A world-famous artistic village that has become a K-pop landmark through visits, murals, and music videos.
Gamcheon Culture Village, often called the 'Machu Picchu of Busan,' is a stunning hillside community of brightly colored houses, twisting alleys, and street art. Its unique and picturesque scenery has long made it a popular tourist destination, but its status has been elevated to a K-pop holy ground. The village features a large, famous mural of BTS members Jimin and Jungkook, which became an attraction in itself. This connection was solidified when Jimin personally visited the village, taking photos and exploring the area, causing a massive surge in interest from fans worldwide. Beyond BTS, the village's cinematic quality has attracted other artists; Stray Kids filmed a music video here, and Kang Daniel showcased its charm in his reality show. Today, it's a living gallery where K-pop history is painted directly onto the landscape.
